Tropical Short| Button down| Colored Heel

Happy Sunday everyone! I'm trying to keep the post coming. I buy so many clothes. I have to share them with you all.  I kept it simple for my dinner date last night. It was a blazing 90 degrees in Indy. So, I thought of a way to dress up my tropical print shorts.  A simple button down with silver accesories and a pop of color was all I needed to complete my look.

Chic Girl Tip: When dressing up a look. Cute accesories and a nice heel can go a long way.

Red| White| Chambray Denim

Happy Monday Everyone! My four day weekend was wonderful. Work can be so stressful. So when I have extra time to blog I'm in my happy place. While in Target searching for housewares, I drifted in the women's clearance section. I found these adorable chambray denim palazzo pants for $12! This is the same story I told my Boyfriend. Lol He finds it hard to believe when I tell him how much I paid for something. He clearly just thinks I have shopping problem. Which I admittedly do. But, seriously ladies don't sleep on your local retailers. I find so many items that scream  quality for a super cheap price. I wanted to keep the look simple by adding a white tank with red accents. A colored blouse or tank would be another alternative as well.
CHIC GIRL TIP: Use red as an accent to your favorite denim or white ensemble. Red is a bold and confident choice when styling.

Tank: Old Navy

Pants: Target

Clutch: Gap

Shoes: Prabral Gurung for Target

Nude Dress| Studded Bag| Wrap Sandal

Hello Loves, I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend. Today's look speaks comfort, flexibility, and of course chicness. Until recently, I was convinced that Forever21 was just for 21yr olds. I would hate going in the store and shuffling through so many racks of "teeny bopper" clothing. However, this season I've been able to find  really cute quality peices. I've been surrounded by stylish women my whole life. My mom would always say "It's not about where you buy an item. It's about how you style it".

We each have our own unique way of making fashion reflect our own personal style. No matter the price point. We can each accomplish the same fashion goals. With that being said I will be visiting my local F21 store more often. Lol

Chic Girl Tip: When buying from trendy stores. Stick with solids and be selective about fabrics. Printed items tend to catch everyone's eye. So you're more likely to see someone in an identical peice to yours.

Aztec print dress

Good afternoon everyone, today's look is super casual and comfy. We went to our neighborhood fair yesterday. I felt like a big kid enjoying some of my favorite fair foods like corn on the cob, funnel cake, and corn dogs. I'm sure you guys know by now that I love colors. Finding this Aztec print dress online made me so happy. The price point was great as well. As I mentioned before, I refuse to pay a lot for trendy items. I tend to invest more in my classic prices.

DRESS: Boohoo

Denim Shirt: Urban outfitters

Sneakers: Converse
