Holiday Season Look

Whew! The holiday season is finally coming to a close. Those that know me, can attest to the fact that the holidays stress me out. While it's a joyous occasion filled with many laughs and full

. I tend to stress over small things. However, we had an amazing holiday. My not so young anymore preteen received many of the things he requested and more. But, I expressed to him that the best gifts in life can't be bought. So, now I'm already focusing on next year. I'm thinking I'd rather travel instead of buying gifts. We shall see!

Styling: My look is pretty simple. I bought my duster from

. I wanted to pair it with a statement bag or clutch. I found my adorable at Zara the day after Thanksgiving. My jeans are old from Paige denim and you guys already know about my favorite target boots.

Bachelorette Party Chic

Hey Loves! I hope all of you are having a blessed and productive day. Today's look is near and dear to my heart. This past weekend I attended my friend's Bachelorette party. We've been friends for over 30 years. So, this night was very special to me. I was kind of irritated with myself, because I let time slip away and ended up late to her dinner. Although, I was late, she embraced me and was very thankful that I was able to attend. Marriage is such a beautiful covenant and vow to god. It makes my heart smile to see friends take that next step. But, I hate and I repeat hate when people ask when am I getting married. My reply is when god says I'm ready. Lol! I'm fine with being the last of the Mohicans to jump the broom. Maybe, I can be the one that will learn from everyone else's experiences.

STYLING DETAILS: My dress practically speaks for itself. When I seen it I fell in love. The exaggerated frill sleeves allows you to make a chic yet subtle fashion statement. I definitely played with my accessories a bit with this look. My simple choker necklaces are on trend but not too much. I found my fishnet while browsing through F21. I can remember rocking fishnet a lot in the early 2000's. I bought my suede lace-up heels about a month ago. As you can tell, they've become my new faves.

Shirt Or Dress

Hey Babes!

Today's look is most definitely Bohemian inspired. I found my Boho-Chic top at a local boutique not far from my house. The print is amazing and the style of this top is perfect for all body types. I'm very petite so I opted to wear it as a dress. We've had unseasonably warm weather so I paired it with my over the knee boots. Add, skinny jeans or leggings for more of a chic on the go look.

Trendy Chic

Hey babes, I hope you all have recovered from the Monday Blues. Today's look consist of my favorite fall trends.

Patches: From patched jeans to jackets. The patch trend is everywhere. It kind of reminds me of the 80's and all those DIY iron ons.

Pleated Skirt: A pleated skirt is an absolute staple in my wardrobe. It creates a girly element to any look. Dress a skirt up or down with sneakers or a strappy heel.

Ankle tie pumps: The silhouette these strappy heels create is amazing. They're chic and girly at the same time. I have to say the ties can be annoying though. They slide down so easily. But, I definitely loves these so much.

Favorite skirt

Hey loves, I know I'm not the only one with that favorite item that you refuse to get rid of. I bought this skirt so long ago. But, I still manage to work it in to my current wardrobe.

Hey loves, I can't believe summer is over so soon. I have to admit I love fall clothing. But, I'm not a fan of the cooler temperatures.

Bohemian Flair

Good morning loves! I'm so happy that I was able to shoot yesterday. I ventured downtown to one of my favorite areas. I even had time to stop at my favorite Thai restaurant.

Styling Details: I love anything that has a bohemian flair to it. The embroidered detailed with tassels reminded me of a look I saw in the Free People store. Free people is known for their bohemian chic style of clothing. I love they're clothing so much. However, their price point can be more than I want to pay at times. I'm trying to be conscious in the way I shop and spend money. My dress was a much cheaper alternative and it's just as awesome as the other dress I seen. This dress was under $30! I know many people think that bloggers just love to spend money and go above their means. I'm the total opposite. I buy most things on sale. However, I will not compromise quality for a cheaper price point. This little number was perfect for me and I didn't break the bank. Thanks for stopping by loves.

Pom Love

Hey loves, are you guys as hype as I am, to be off tomorrow? I enjoyed a wonderful weekend with my family. We celebrated my older sister's birthday. Also, My favorite cousin came to visit from Memphis,Tn. We had nothing but endless laughter all night.

Style details: I tried to hold out on my Pom apparel for some time. So many bloggers wore Pom detailed apparel all summer. I figured I'd wait for the perfect time to wear mine. Pom printed accessories and apparel aren't going anywhere anytime soon. I saw the cutest top from the Zara's fall collection. I also found the perfect Pom earrings at Mango.
