Styling A Band Tee & Animal Print Booties

Hello loves!

There's so many ways to wear/ style the every so chic band tee. One thing for sure, the chic tee is not just for concerts. The 80's gave us so many reasons to keep a vintage tee in our closet. I love pairing a vintage tee with a Moto jacket. It's such a chic way to express my style without trying too hard. A great tee can be dressed up or down. Try adding your favorite bomber jacket or plaid shirt for a casual look. Add a blazer or leather piece for a dressier way to rock your tee. Usually, I'm an avid simple and chic girl. However, I think it's great to think outside of the box with fashion at times. I decided to add a pair of animal print booties to boost the edginess of my look. I love styling animal print with graphic tees, stripes, and plaid. I'm all for being creative with fun prints. I chose a faux leather legging to complete my look. I thought a pair of distressed jeans would've been a typical styling choice. So, I decided to deviate from the norm. Thank you loves for stopping by. Chay Loves Stripes

Hey Lovelies! Is winter over yet? I'm so over the up and down temps. However, I love being able to sneak in fun pieces that transition from season to season. Wearing crop pants in the winter are a look I love. From, cropped jeans with bootie boots or cropped trousers with a chunky sock. Crop pants have been one of the hottest trends this season. Don't even get me started on striped clothing. I don't think I can have too many striped items in my closet. From bold stripes to classic ones. Mean Green

Hello guys, I hope your New Year is starting off great! I learned a lot about myself this pass year. I've gotten to the point where if it doesn't make me happy. Then, it's not worth doing. I found myself at an all time low in my career. Being a nurse is unforgiving and strenuous for most. The tedious hours and work politics became too much to bear. I woke up and said I will not start another year in this environment. As my mom would often say "Where there's a will there's a way". Being unhappy with your job is one of the worst feelings to have. While, my career is very lucrative. I realized there's more to life than "Mean Green". Money tends to keep us in situations that are toxic and draining.

So, I've started off my new year with new goals. I'm planning to blog of course. I also will continue my education and work as needed. It appears that 2017 will be my year of freedom and liberation. ☺️

Styling: My style can vary from day to day. However, I keep classic items in my closet at all times. A white collar shirt is a staple during any season. It's great a layering piece or stand alone item. I found my green vest this summer at Target. I have to admit I don't pack away my summer clothes. There's so many transitional pieces in fashion. I keep everything in my closet. Y'all know I live for clutches. I wanted my clutch to be the statement piece. To complete the look I added a pair of chic bootie boots.
