Wrap skirt & White Tee

Hey loves! The weekend flew by as usual. I find my styling is at it's best when I don't over think it. Taking basic hues such as white and tan and incorporating a cute print is as easy as it gets. I really wish I had  bought this wrap skirt in every color. I found it on sale at Express months ago. The quality is amazing and I scored it for under $20! My t-shirt is one of my faves from Zara. I bought it while I was in Las Vegas. I just loved the frill sleeves so much. My pumps are an oldie but goodie from Steve Madden. I would also style my skirt with a denim or printed top. A good wrap skirt is another closet staple worth having.

Thanks for Stopping by loves!

Repeat Offender

Hey loves! I must admit, I'm a repeat offender from time to time. I bought my dress a couple of years ago from BooHoo. The first time I styled it. I layered it with a pair of skinny jeans and fringe sandal. This time I wanted to hone in on the print and leave my other pieces subtle. I loved the outcome of this bold yet sleek look. I love adding black to a funky print. The color black has a way of "Sealing The Deal" when it comes to fashion.

Can you guys believe I was going to pitch this dress? I'm so glad I didn't. Before, tossing an item in your closet. Think of three ways you could style it to maximize your wardrobe. You'd be surprised at all the items you'll end up holding on to. Have a great rest of the week lovelies.

Weekend Chic

Hey loves! I hope you guys had an awesome weekend. I'm kind of excited about Monday. I start a new job! I've worked as a  beside nurse for so long. I'm eager to transition back to an office setting. I really enjoyed helping patients in an office without enduring the stress and long hours of working at the bedside. Wish me luck!

Today's look is all about " Weekend Chic". I know most of us usually do most of our errands and socializing on the weekend. This look is geared towards  those who opt for comfort and style at the same time. A maxi cardigan is a staple in my closet. Cardigans are such a transitional piece. You can add a dress and some boots to dress it up, or a graphic tee and a pair of sneakers to dress it down. Also, try elevating your style by adding a wrap belt.

My goal when styling this look, was to keep it simple and  fun. My graphic t-shirt  and  shades definitely add  that fun element. I also kept it simple by wearing all black and incorporating a pop of color with my gray cardigan. My MCM tote has been my go to bag lately. I'd been looking for a tote for sometime. I wanted a tote that I didn't see everyone else carrying. I have to admit I didn't like MCM until I seen this bag and a couple of their non-logo handbags. Now, I don't leave home without it. I can carry my magazines, water Bottle, planner, and many other items. Thanks for Stopping loves! I hope you all have a fantastic week. XOXO

Faux Midi Dress With Leather Accessories

Hey Loves!

I'm so excited about my dress. I'll admit it's been in my closet for some time. Lately, I've been gravitating to my spring-like items and placing them at the front of my closet. Per usual, I love clothing that easily transitions from one season to the next. Since, it's still pretty cool out. I decided to add my faux leather jacket and leather booties. I added my black bralette for a cute peek-a-boo effect.

A style trick I use before buying an item,  Is to think of three ways I can wear an item before buying it. For instance if I were to wear my dress in the spring, I'd pair it with a jean jacket and some flats. Or try a linen button down shirt , tied around your waist with a pair white sneakers. Remember, there's so many ways to convey your own personal style.
