Striped pants

Happy Monday or not loves! The weekend goes by entirely too fast. I've decided to start each week with a new goal for the week.  My goal for this week is to remain organized and focused. One way to help me stay focus, is to scale back on my visits to social media sites. Now of course I'll be on these sites for blogging purposes. But, I've tried to reduce the amount of time I visit these sites. Constantly, viewing what others are doing. Can consume you and hinder one from focusing on their goals.

Styling: We all know I love colors. I fell in love with these pants as soon as I saw them. I originally to planned to wear these on the beach in San Diego. I figured I could either dress these pants up or down. I opted for the dressier option in this particular post. However, my pants would be perfect with a tank and a flat sandal as well. I purchased these beauties from one of my all time favorites (Anthropologie). I love the uniqueness of their clothes. I've been shopping there for years and they have yet to fail me.

Thanks for Stopping by loves!

Dresses over Jeans

Happy Friday loves! I know I've been layering up like it is fall or winter. But, I just love the look of jeans and dresses together. It makes me feel as if I get a two for one look. When vacationing last month, I wore this Zara printed dresses.  Although, that look was casual and cute. I prefer the way I styled it in this post better. Don't hesitate to grab your favorite tee and jean to wear under a cute button down  maxi dress. Wear the dress unbuttoned and grab your favorite sunnies and handbag. Just like that you are simple and chic my loves!

Summer Time

Hey loves, I'm not disappearing on you guys. I've had a busy August thus far. But, I will be posting looks weekly for you guys. What makes you love your favorite blogger? I actually have two favorite bloggers and what makes me love them is their authenticity. I'm the type that loves those that are true to themselves at all times. Their style won't change due to what everyone else is wearing or not. Now, don't get me wrong. I love an on trend look. But, sometimes I do get tired of seeing tons of bloggers with the same exact purse or shoe as one another. It's ok to deviate from the norm and be fashionable while doing so.

About the look: My love for summer is displayed in the clothes I wear. Bright hues and breezy fabrics are just a subtle reminder that it's still summer for now. I planned on wearing my kimono while in Cali. But, I didn't get around to wearing this look.

My styling: Kimonos are such a statement piece. I've bought several for fall already! I knew that I wanted to layer my kimono with a pair of denim jeans or shorts. I opted for the jeans to create a sleek dressy casual look.  My tank and jeans I've had for some time. When it comes to accessories, I usually keep it very minimal. By adding a small studded earring, multi-chain necklace, and rope bracelets.  This look can be worn to a concert, girls night, or dinner with bae.

Bejeweled

Hey loves, I hope you all are having the best week ever. The last couple of weeks have been a struggle for me. I officially have a freshman in high school. I'm so happy that my baby is growing up. However, I can't help but to look at him as mommies little boy. My goal in life is to raise an amazing man and leader of my family. So, I guess it's time to allow my son to transition in to manhood. *tear*

Zara's one of my favorite places to shop. The reason why I love their clothing so much is, they tend to have something for everyone. From conservative to edgy clothing there's something for everyone. I found my bejeweled jeans during their recent summer sale. I will always be here for buying the look for less. My jeans retailed for $100. I only paid 20! Don't sleep on a good sale guys.

My styling: Honestly, I believe that stylish looks shouldn't require a lot of effort. My top is from  nasty gal. It's actually a wrap top that ties in the back. My jeans are the obvious focal point of my look. I kept it simple with a lace up sandal. Again, minimal effort but creating a statement with bejeweled jeans.

Styling options: I personally dress for my body style. But, if  you have that snatched tummy. A crop top would be so cute with these jeans. I would also love to style this look with a cute duster and a pair of sneakers. Jeans are so transitional to dress up or down as needed.

How cute are the beaded gems on these jeans?!

Thanks for Stopping loves!
