Casual Day

Happy Sunday Everyone, Sunday is usual my day to run errands after church. My goal with this look is to remain comfortable and chic at the same time. With this look you can opt for a flat shoe like an espadrilles or sneaker.  When I bought my grid patten sweatshirt, I was waiting for the perfect mild day to wear. It's only 60 degrees in Indy today. Yikes.

Chic Girl Tip: Keep your patterned sweatshirts and long sleeve sweaters for cool summer weather.

So tonight we celebrated my aunt's eightieth birthday. What an accomplishment. She is the funniest person I know. The oldest girl of ten kids! 

Tonight, I wore the  shift dress my sister bought me for Mother's Day. This dress kind of has a bohemian vibe. My aviator sunglasses and studded sandal added just enough flair to complete the look.  We had a blast by the way. Check out the pic below of my gorgeous aunt and mom.

Hello Ladies, I'm ready for a fun filled holiday weekend. Well, my fun will consist of working and pulling weeds from my yard. lol. The striped dress I'm wearing I bought online a year ago. I love black and white! My two go to colors for a simplistic/minimalist approach. You just can't go wrong with this color combo. I wore my leather booties to keep the look casual. I hope you ladies haven't placed your booties in your winter storage bin. They're perfect all year round. Wear  them with a pair of frayed denim shorts and an elongated top for a cute bohemian chic look. Cheap chic

Hello loves! It's a beautiful day in Indy. Beautiful weather is such a mood booster for me and  I'm in a awesome mood. Today I'm wearing one of my favorite thrifted skirts. I purchased this nude 100% leather  skirt for $5 at the Goodwill. Let's just call this look "cheap chic" lol
