Come on May flowers!

Happy Hump day loves! Is anyone else over this weather?! I’m not sure if I should be dressing for 8 inches of snow or sunny 70 degree weather. I’m so over it!

This cute little flowered dress reminds me so much of spring. From the vivid colors to the flowery detail. I’m so thinking of May flowers. I couldn’t help but to get a 70’s vibe from this number as well.

I’ve had myself on a pretty strict budget in an effort to save money. Howver, when I stumbled across this number $20 with 30% off. You guys know I couldn’t leave this! Lol

Styling: I love styling pieces such as this one. There’s not much effort required at all. I chose to accentuate the red in this dress. By adding a red purse and sandals. Red is such a statement color and tends to photograph well. I would’ve loved nude or blue accessories with this dress was as well.

Obsessed with stripes...

Hey loves, I’m going to forewarn you guys that I have an obsession with stripes. I originally purchased my blazer at regular price. However, I was able to snag it again on sale for $17 with 30% off!! Y’all know I had to return the full priced one and retrieve my coins. Lol My styling goal was to create a chic yet somewhat casual look. I hope you guys enjoy.

Freedom is my mood

Happy almost end of the week loves! Let’s just talk about freedom for a minute. I’m sure you all know that we’re all “free” in a sense. However, some may feel enslaved regarding their employer, finances, and relationships. I can remember a younger me telling an employer “ You don’t own me”. Sadly, many don’t realize that we set the tone for our lives and how we’re treated. Remember, freedom is a feeling, mood, and an emotion.

My t-shirt was purchased from Zara during their winter sale. Many don’t realize the versatility of a graphic tee. I tend to

dress them up or down depending upon my mood. You could also try adding a pair of distressed jean and a sneaker for casual look. Another alternative would be to add a cute white blazer as a sleek additive. I hope you guys enjoyed this look!

Chay’s still chic!

Hello loves! It’s been nearly two months since I’ve posted a blog post. I really missed interacting with all of you and realized that I needed to get back to blogging right away. However, I did appreciate the time I had to focus on a couple of goals I set for myself at the beginning of the year. I’m proud to say I’ve accomplished two of my short term goals!

Let’s talk spring fashion! This look was one that I consider a “no-brainer”. A cute kimono and jeans with distressed details. But, I wanted to give it a spring vibe. So, Of course my favorite store saves the day. I remembered that I ordered my neon colored pumps from the most recent Zara sale. I wasn’t sure what I’d wear the pumps with and then my fashion light bulb went off. The statement earrings from Zara are always so bomb. I’ve ordered 5 pairs for spring! I just knew that this particular pair would be perfect complement to my look.

I’m aware that many of you may not be fan of statement earrings. So, another great additive to this look, Would be to add a cute statement purse or necklace. I hope you guys enjoyed this post. I need to hurry and order this kimono in another color. Before, it sales out!
