Teddy

Happy Friday loves!

Keeping it short and sweet! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday. I’m still scrambling to finish my last minute shopping. But, when I start to feel overwhelmed. I remind myself of the true reason for the season. I typically take days off work this time of year. I will be off for 11 days and I’m looking forward to a little rest and relaxation.

Today’s look is a simple and casual at the same time. I’ve been waiting for the perfect time to wear my teddy coat. A friend and I went for a walk in their neighborhood and I was so comfy the entire time. I’ve seen many variations of the teddy coat. Some have more texture and may even be a bit heavier. I just love the versatility of this piece. It’s definitely an item that you can dress up or down. Although, I kept it casual...I would also add a skirt and a pair of knee boots for a dressier look. A leather skirt or pant would be perfect to mix textures as well. My love for this jacket is so real! I’m now on the hunt for a pink one. Lol

Casual Holiday Style

Hey friends!

It’s the most wonderful but stressful time of the year. I remind myself every year to hone in on the true meaning of Christmas and not just gifts. I understand that gift giving is fun. However, there’s so many valuable things in life...that money can’t buy.

Most of us have plenty of holiday parties to attend. This particular look is more for a casual holiday event. When, picking your holiday look. The color and print of your look can scream holiday style. My signature is wearing red and plaid this time of the year. I guarantee that you’ll find the two in most brand collections during the winter months. Many of the pieces I’m wearing are from previous seasons. I really loved how this look could be dressed up down. I added the velvet pumps for a sophisticated touch. However, pair of white chucks would be cute as well.

Hey Babes!

Hoping you all had an awesome Thanksgiving! Let’s get right in to it. It’s Cyber Monday and I love online shopping. What’s better than being able to shop in your jammies. I’m really trying to keep my shopping to a minimum. But, what’s a girl to do when it’s my favorite past time. A quick tip when shopping cyber sales. Don’t get caught up in the hype. Do your research and make sure really getting a same. Some retailers may say the site is 60% off. However, they’ve marked sale items back up to regular price.

Today’s look is comprised of my favorite print. Leooard print is a huge trend this year. But, Leopard its been a staple in my wardrobe for years. I wanted to make a statement by mixing prints with this look. Stripes are so perfect with leopard print and a pop of color is forever on trend.

Maximizing a great print!

Hey babes!

We all know a great print can truly make an outfit. The main goal with prints such as this one. Is to let the print do all the work in regards to styling. I know that bold prints aren’t for everyone. However, there are so many options to fit your personal style. From colorful stripes to mini polka dots. There’s truly a print for everyone.

Styling:

This particular piece was so easy to style. When I first bought this dress/tunic. My thought was to add a leopard printed shoe for a little edginess. But, I decided to play it safe and not do the most. Since, we are several weeks in to the fall season. I couldn’t help but to add some texture to this look. Where’s your accessories?

I feel like I’m always taking about the weather. But, It really plays a major role in style and fashion. Now, that the temperatures have dropped. I tend to wear layered looks most of the time. I recreated this ruffle t-shirt dress by adding jeans and a textured bag. Many people don’t realized how important accessories are. My jeans, dress, and shoes are old. However, I purchased my Headband and bag from Target a couple of weeks ago. My followers that are on budget. Often, ask was a quick inexpensive way to spruce up thrift style. My go to is to buy fun accessories.
